GUEST AND STAFF COACH POLICY
The Hardee’s IcePlex policy regarding the participation of coaches during freestyle and public sessions is as follows:
* STAFF COACHES are those currently teaching group lessons, or are actively substituting, at the Hardee’s IcePlex. Staff Coaches are not required to pay for any freestyle or public sessions they teach or skate on.
* Coaches may take a break from teaching group lessons for two sessions before being considered not on staff.
* A copy of a current insurance must be on file in order to teach at the Hardee’s IcePlex.
* All Staff Coaches must sign in the Freestyle Sessions Sign-In book with your name and check the appropriate box. This must be done before each session. This is true if you are going to coach or skate yourself.
* GUEST COACHES are all coaches that do not meet the Staff Coach qualifications listed above. Guest coaches pay the same rate for freestyle as their skaters. Guest coaches are not charged for any commission from the lessons taught. Payments can be made by:
* Paying a walk-on fee of $10 for a freestyle session.
* Purchasing a punch card for $85 for 10 freestyle sessions.
* Purchasing a punch card for $160 for 20 freestyle sessions.
* A guest coach should have a copy of their insurance policy on hand or on file at Hardee’s IcePlex.
* All Guest Coaches must sign the Freestyle Sessions Sign-In book with your name, check the appropriate box as Guest Coach AND which payment type was made. Payment is required for each freestyle session you teach on. Guest Coaches may not teach on a Public Session.
* Please verify, prior to beginning a lesson, that your student has paid and signed in. We really need to keep an accurate record of who is skating on each Freestyle Session. This is your responsibility, so the managers or I do not have to interrupt your lesson to ask.
We truly appreciate your business and the students you bring to this rink. I expect that all rules be followed. If multiple warnings have been given and you continue to not follow the rules, the Hardee’s IcePlex will revoke your Staff or Guest Coach privileges and ask you not to teach on freestyle or public session ice at the Hardee’s IcePlex.
